together we host teen workshops for life skills

From foundational classes on personal value systems & understanding emotions to stress management, goal setting, study techniques, digital habits and more.

MINDFULNESS

In a world full of distraction and overwhelming pressure to perform, learning tools for mindfulness can help us stay healthy, balanced and true to ourselves. We bring awareness to each participant’s personal value system, discuss emotions and empower teens with language to communicate their needs and make better decisions that align with their value system.

COMMUNICATION

Healthy communication and boundaries are important to every relationship at every stage of life. To truly feel seen, connected and have our needs met, we need tools to build relationships and trust. Healthy boundaries give us clues and choices on whether or not we are in a healthy relationship.

Growing up is hard. Our kids are facing all the struggles that we did, but they are also navigating a new digital world. Often savvier than their parents online. They are bombarded with constant information, constant contact & comparison, overwhelming pressure to succeed and the risk that anything you do may be caught online and memorialized forever. Parents are doing their best, and we aim to support their efforts through these workshops.

Healthy Digital habits

The world today is very different to how many of us parents grew up, and social media and smartphones are a large part of that. Navigating these new tools can be overwhelming. This workshop covers some of the dangers of being online, as well as some strategies for mental well-being and safety.
